I've joined a new club on DeviantArt.com which is only for children illustrators. I managed to play it with Photoshop for this monthly topic "Night Creatures" [link].
It's getting into the autumn spirit! My favorite colour, Halloween is around the corner and I feel like a bit kinda spooky but the colour of leaves from my surroundings will not going to change. Mr. Owl has a cute spouting face that is looking at the girl and I also love the way she is just trying to catch the fireflies no matter what... Sometimes I love to illustrate my mini girls and owls because it's fun and let me have some more freedom. I tried to mix some textures to get an interesting messy mixed media style.
